Round 11 - Pick 342 — Titan Hayes, P, Austin Peay State
B/T: R/R
HT: 6’ 2”
WT: 218
Played some summer ball for Williamsport and struggled but came back for his first year of college ball at Austin Peay and did well before a couple nice outings with Chatham this year. Could be a decent guy to develop, he throws hard and that’s something.
Round 12 - Pick 372 — A.J. Wilson, P, UNC Charlotte
B/T: L/L
HT: 6’ 3”
WT: 225
Struggled across nearly all levels while being a below average reliever for both Eastern Carolina and Charlotte. He struggled mightily for High Point-Thomasville in the Coastal Plain summer league and finished his amateur career with a 6.20 cumulative ERA. He’ll have to really impress to get through FCL play this year.
Round 13 - Pick 402 — Teagan Cain, RHP, Kansas
B/T: L/R
HT: 6’ 0”
WT: 200
Did well at Barton Community College and was called up for Kansas last year. Recorded a 5.94 ERA in 2024 with a 1-2 record and 47 SO. In one season with Kansas (junior) he went 33.1 IP allowing 37 H, 23 R, 22 ER, 18 BB, and 7 HBP with a .298 BA. He’s from Ellis Kansas where he was a standout in HS and both his parents played college baseball/softball. Round 15 - Pick 462 — Luke Gabrysh, RHP, St. Joseph’s
B/T: R/R
HT: 6’ 3”
WT: 200
Phillies scooped up a local product here with Gabrysh, the righty went to SJU and is from Wilmington, DE where he attended Concord for High School. He finished the year for SJU with a 6.10 ERA, which was an improvement on his last few years (2022; 14.81, 2023; 9.00). He did spend some time with the Trenton Thunder where he recorded a 1.42 ERA in 12.2 IP through the MLB Draft League. He projects very well for the Phillies and I can definitely see him making waves for the club this year and heading into 2025 throughout the minor leagues.
